A bit uncomfortable because of the nearby presence of the horse Willem, I was in the paddock with Fabienne on a chilly morning. The first session, an insightful session with a stunning finale. Towards the end, Pim had adopted the pose for bereavement. When I turned around on Fabienne's instructions, there were suddenly five other horses next to each other in a row. They all had exactly the same pose as Pim! The six horses corresponded to my family situation. Me, Pim, inside the paddock, and the five horses outside the paddock in the big bad outside world, with their heads in the same direction. As if they were saying in unison, "It's okay to move on."

When someone asks me if I can find answers in communicating with a horse, I say a resounding YES! I never thought that a horse would be able to tell so purely what is going on inside me. The meetings with the horses and Fabienne were very clarifying to me. Before, I did not know so well what I wanted, let alone what I felt. So there I was, in the middle of the winter in a cold meadow with three horses and a woman. Where the horses moved, the woman spoke. She translated the language the horses were speaking with their powerful bodies. I was enchanted. It was the magic of the truth of her words, questions and the movements of these beautiful creatures that said it all. That guided me. Straight away the horse showed what I am dealing with all of my life: an unstable connection pattern of attracting and pushing off. In the presence of the horse I could feel my desire and my capacity to connect very clearly. It even felt like the horse invited me to.
