Trauma healing
In the case of a traumatic experience or situation, there’s a strong tendency to shut off, either from emotion and/or from other people. They both enforce one other. This can cause you to feel lonely and bring isolation. By shutting off our true feelings they can seem to be less present. In reality this isn’t true. In our subconscious they’re still very active but are only being suppressed. Feelings that are hidden will often return in a bigger form. New situations can trigger these hidden feelings. This can cause new secrets and traumas to appear, layering the trauma even further.
Sometimes an intense event, illness and/or pure will power can prompt you to make a change. Horses are the perfect co-coach to assist you in the healing process. Because horses are out for wholeness, they will show in that moment the part of you that needs healing the most. That’s how we are able to access the core very quickly. Through experience, I use methods and techniques that are shown to be very effective in emotion regulation and trauma healing.
